We are looking for a self-motivated, flexible, hard worker who is eager to gain experience in the tourism industry. We have an opening for a seasonal worker to join our support staff. Job duties range from assisting in tours to general maintenance of planes, boats, office, and cabins.

Job Title: Support Staff Associate

Job Type: Full-time / Seasonal (May 15 th , 2024 – September 30 th , 2024)

Pay: DOE

Physical setting: Office (Based in Homer, Alaska)

Schedule: Flexible

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Willing and ready to help in multiple capacities, including routine maintenance for our fleet of boats, planes, Argos, cabins to assisting on tours bear viewing, fishing charters or Argoing

Familiar with basic tools, lawn equipment and cleaning supplies

Friendly demeaner, positive attitude and customer centric mindset

Maintain a positive attitude and work in a professional manner

Able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.

Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle

Flexible schedule and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying tasks day-to-day

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience towing trailers

Mechanical background

2+ years of experience in the tourism industry

Local knowledge of Homer and Alaska
