Senior Developer

Senior Developer (Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO) –Newport Beach, CA); Multiple positions available. Offered salary range $153,000 to $157,000 per year. Adopt lean, agile, cloud-native development processes. Design, build, and maintain marketing platforms and integrations. Translate business requirements into code. Own and lead the development of marketing software solutions from end-to-end (i.e. design to execution). Ensure quality through the implementation of test-drive development standards. Solve complex business problems. Source and advocate for platform initiatives that increase both sustainability and supportability using Object-Oriented Design Principles.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in .NET development and related technologies. Must have 7 years of experience in each of the following: .NET development and related technologies; Application of relevant design patterns and object oriented principles; REST services; Database designing and modelling using MS SQL Server; Designing solutions for reuse; DevOps practices using DevOps tooling; Software engineering fundamentals, including algorithmic complexity, data structures, and design patterns; and Unit testing and code coverage using any testing frameworks such as NUnit, XUnit, or similar. Experience may be gained concurrently.
