Pace Excavation has an immediate opening for a driven and hard working Grading Foreman to join our growing team! We are seeking individuals who wish to grow in their ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment and be part of one of the fastest growing excavation contractors in North Mississippi.

Foreman Knowledge Base:

Basic operating ability on a variety of heavy equipment including tractors and pan, track hoe, bulldozers, skidsteer(clearing), and excavator.

Read Plan Set

Grading Experience(Mass Grading, Set Grades, Slope, Fine Grading, GPS)

Ability to change equipment attachments.

Ability to clear areas of vegetation and debris, install utilities, grade an area, and demolish structures.

Performing daily equipment inspections.

Performing small maintenance tasks ex. oil changes, cleaning and replacing filters.

Physical and Behavioral Abilities:

Ability to lead a team.

Ability to present themselves in a professional manner.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other designers).

Ability to stand, bend, lift and carry a variety of light to heavy items throughout a 10-hour workday.

Ability to report to work on time every scheduled day
