Summer Work with Kids, perfect for HS/College. sports program

GO! Sport Club seeks Lead coach and assistant to have fun while teaching sport skills, all outdoors, with children ages 5-11 years. Teach athletic conditioning, ball/team skills and games. 5 summer weeks: 3 in July, 2 first of August.

Salary DOE. Assistant $18 / hour, paid weekly

Lead $31/hour paid weekly

This children's program will focus on Athletic Skills and games. There will also be some simple arts and crafts projects (provided by program director) and snack/lunch for down time, using the shelters and tree-shade at Ragle park.

2 groups of 6 children, divided according to age/skills.

Program Director is Keren Abrams, who will work with the Leads to design a daily and weekly schedule of activities. Keren will be on site or nearby each day of the program.

A great candidate will example proficiency in:

- taking initiative and being responsible

- high level communication skills

- caring for children with respect and proper boundaries, in balance

- supporting children to learn

- supporting children to be safe AND have fun

- Athletic skills such as: stretch/yoga, ball games, track and field style activity, soccer, sprint racing, etc.

- Accountability and honesty
