Facilities Maintenance TechnicianOverview:· Pay: $25 to $33 an hour· Location: Seattle, WA· Direct PlacementJob Description:Repair and maintenance: Carry out necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.· Safety compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe environment for all occupants.· Equipment management: Maintain and repair building equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.· Emergency response: Be available for emergency repairs or issues that may arise outside of normal working hours.· Vendor coordination: Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and ensure their work meets the building’s standards.· Record keeping: Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work for future reference and budgeting purposes.· Preventive measures: Implement preventive maintenance measures to avoid potential issues and ensure the longevity of the building’s systems and structures.· Team collaboration: Work closely with the building management team to prioritize maintenance tasks and projects.· Continual learning: Willing to train.
